Day One: This afternoon we arrive at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, Connecticut. Here you will have an opportunity to explore the nation’s leading maritime museum. The 19-acre recreated New England Coastal Village, shipyard, exhibit halls and historic vessels will transport you back into the life of a New Englander in the 19th century. We will check into our local hotel for the evening and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (D)

Day Two: Breakfast is included at the hotel this morning. We will board the coach for a trip to the Submarine Force Museum. The United States Navy operated museum is located on the shores of the Thames River and maintains the world’s finest collection of submarine artifacts and is home to the first nuclear powered submarine – the USS Nautilus. Our next stop brings us to Essex, Connecticut where we will board the Essex Steam Train and Riverboat. We’ll enjoy a scenic train ride coupled with an excursion on the Connecticut River and picnic lunch. This afternoon we begin our journey north with a stop in Deerfield, Massachusetts for a visit to the Yankee Candle Factory. Our final destination will be at our New Hampshire resort where we will spend the next three nights. Dinner is included this evening. (B,L,D)

Day Three: Breakfast is included at the resort this morning. Following breakfast we are joined by our local guide and we journey to Holderness, NH and Squam Lake Cruises. Here we will sit back and enjoy a narrated boat ride on the lake made famous by the movie “On Golden Pond”. Our next stop is at Mill Falls Marketplace where you will have time for lunch and shopping on your own or to stretch your legs on the boardwalk. After lunch we’ll stop for a delicious homemade ice cream treat on our way back to the resort. Tonight we board the Cafe Lafayette Dinner train for a spectacular four course dinner while rolling through the countryside. (B,D)

Day Four: Breakfast is included at the resort this morning. Boarding the coach with our local guide we set off on a scenic drive along the Kancamagus Highway. Picture stops afford breathtaking views of the White Mountains as we make our way to North Conway. Once in North Conway you have time for lunch and shopping on your own. This afternoon we travel to the Mount Washington Cog Railway for a roundtrip excursion to the summit of Mount Washington. Upon arrival at the summit you will have time to visit the Visitor Center, rooftop Observation Deck and the Extreme Mount Washington interactive weather exhibit. Returning to the resort, dinner is served this evening at a local restaurant. (B,D)

Day Five: Breakfast is included at the resort this morning. After breakfast we board the coach and bid farewell to New Hampshire. We will arrive in Lake George, NY in time for lunch and shopping on your own. This afternoon we board the Mohican for a narrated 2.5 hour cruise on Lake George. We check into our local hotel this evening and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. (B,D).

Day Six: Breakfast is served at the hotel this morning. Board the coach and begin your journey home with fond memories of your time in New England. (B)
